Your message needs to be very clear at first glance. You can use an action slogan. You can use words, but not sentences and sentences.

Think about a great design. Make it interesting, pleasing to the eye, attractive. I want a good design! Not boring:)

This project is about texture. Include white and black areas as well as many different gray areas, which are formed by texture markings.

Once you have a sketch ready, have me see it and we can brainstorm about how to make it even better and what you may still need to work on. Once the sketch is ready, transfer it onto the scratch board by putting your sketch over the black scratch board and trace with a ballpoint pen. This will transfer an indentation into the scratch board, which you can then use to guide you. Think very carefully about what will be scratch out and what stays black. Read the handout again about how to do scratch boards. Prepare the scratch board pen and start scratching out your design. Take your time and do it carefully.
