Interested in doing more art? Join us at the Art Club, where you can initiate projects of your choice. All interested students should come see me to start an art club in room C8. Decide on good meeting times for this year.

We are painting a mural outside the art rooms. We have painted Free little libraries that went out into our community. Summer 2015, we painted stools for the pottery room. Summer 2016, we painted all the pottery room tables and shelving.
In 2015, we received a commission: designing and painting 4 ceiling tiles with bulldog and army logos. We then got a pizza party.

Some ideas could be:
  • a "plein-air" painting group.
  • a Crafts group where we learn to spin wool, weave, make tapestries, knit, crochet, sewing, quilting, candle making, woodwork ...
  • a group designing and helping to make theater sets.
  • a group interested in Exhibition and setting up shows for students at our school and in the Albany community.
  • a group interested in Fundraising and producing goods to sell at a booth at art fairs.
  • a group making larger public art projects.
  • students wanting to work on portfolios to get into art school.
